Kendal Mountain Festival has been the UK’s premier adventure festival for over 20 years. The festival celebrates all forms of adventure through story telling in film, literature and photography. Within the global adventure community it is referred to warmly as simply  “Kendal”.

The vision for the rebrand was to address the limitations of the existing logo and to create an identity that can grow to meet opportunities in new international markets. The new brand builds upon the heritage of the original ‘mountain’ logo. The mark is symbolic of three elements; the mountain, the camp fire, and the tent.

The adaptive colour palette provides the identity versatility to represent different environments and different cultures. The dynamic sections allow the wordmark to scale up or down the number of colours whilst retaining stylistic integrity.
